Echo Lake by Joan Sauders

Echo Lake by Joan Sauders

Matthew Vitagliano ·

A debut, cosy crime writer has just hit the shelves.

This book is both scenic and atmospheric as well as being full of twists and turns.  It ticks a lot of boxes.  Fantastically, it was good to read a book with an unexpected twist that I didn't expect without the violence.

A female protagonist who is just like Miss Marple.  After life changes for Rose, she decides to leave Sydney for the Highlands.  Rose finds a role of film buried in her backyard and decides to have it developed.  She begins investigating a cold case which results in a few unexpected turns.   But,  will Rose discover what the truth is before it is too late.

Absolutely a great read, especially now that the cold and rainy weather has set in.  I really enjoyed this.  Give it a go.

Happy Reading
